About

Hi, I'm Asher.

I’m a queer, trans, nonbinary, and ace therapist, and I’m passionate about creating a space where queer and trans people can show up exactly as they are—feeling seen, heard, and genuinely supported. My work centers on helping people heal from trauma, including experiences like traumatic invalidation, religious trauma, PTSD, chronic suicidality, and more. I also hold intentional space for gender exploration and identity development, recognizing that your journey with gender is deeply personal and deserves care, respect, and affirmation. I believe therapy should not only be a place for healing, but also a place where queer and trans joy is celebrated. You deserve more than just surviving—you deserve to experience growth, connection, and authenticity in your life. I have advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I often integrate DBT skills to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and building a life that feels more balanced and meaningful. In addition to my clinical work, I collaborate with the Rose Dynasty Center to support community connection and peer support. I facilitate a Trans and Nonbinary social and peer support group that meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, and created an LGBTQIA+ recovery and peer support group that meets every Wednesday evening at the Center. You can learn more at: www.rosedynasty.org Whether you’re navigating trauma, identity, or simply trying to make sense of your experiences, I aim to create a space where you can feel safe enough to explore, heal, and grow—at your own pace. Scheduling & Pricing I use the Green Bottle system for pricing, which is designed to offer flexibility and transparency in session fees. This is a self-pay practice, and I do not accept insurance at this time. Payment is due at the time of service, and I’m happy to discuss fee options with you to find what feels accessible and sustainable. Let's connect before scheduling. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we’re a good fit. You can reach me by phone, text, or email—whatever feels most comfortable for you. I look forward to hearing from you and answering any questions you may have. Click the contact link at the top of the page to request a 15-minute phone consultation.
